Once of my resolutions this year was to start a genealogy blog. I’ve seen many people recommend it as a way to get your family story out there and attract cousins and keep in touch with family, but I think another valuable exercise for me will be to record and summarize my research. Summarizing research leads to analysis and insight. Recording my research provides an easy way to see what I’ve accomplished and how I got there. I’m also hoping that writing this blog will improve my research habits!
